ARTISTI PER ALINA

On October 3rd, the first edition of the main project Artists for Alina was inaugurated in Forlì, at the Oratory of San Sebastiano, marking the beginning of this journey with the awarding of three prizes to the works selected by the foundation. The event was organized and promoted by the artist Sanda Sudor, to commemorate the loss of her only daughter, 26-year-old Alina Marchetta, killed on the morning of April 7th, 2019 in Forlì, in a car driven by her peer, Martina Mercuriali, under the influence of alcohol and drugs. An art exhibition to keep alive the memory of this girl, of her tragic passing, and to raise public awareness of the tragedies caused by road homicides perpetrated by completely drunk or drugged drivers. The only tool is art, which Alina's mother can use to ease the abyss of her pain and her unbridgeable loss and to represent the figure of the daughter and of those who survive him harshly in the poignant memory of those looks full of hopes and dreams, now broken. The exhibition displayed works by 40 artists selected from all fields of visual art (painting, sculpture, photography, design, graphics/illustration, video) and, on the day of its inauguration, the first three winning artists of the competition announced for the year 2020 were awarded: 1st Prize "Alina" to Livia Cannella for the video "ALINA and the roses" 2nd Prize to David Pompili for the work "Santi Urbani" 3rd Prize to Anna Maria Scocozza for the art-paper installation "ALINA. Spring will wake you up with a flower". An exhibition that will be repeated every year so that this Love does not fade and so that the warning of this tragedy remains alive: never again these murderous massacres! The 2016 law, which introduced the new crime of road homicide into the criminal code, still presents serious gaps and unacceptable implementation problems.

Il 3 ottobre, e' stata inaugurata a Forlì, presso l’Oratorio di San Sebastiano, la prima edizione del main project Artisti per Alina che sigla cosi l'inizio di questo percorso con la consegna dei tre premi consegnati alle opere selezionate dalla fondazione.
L’evento è stato organizzato e promosso dall’artista Sanda Sudor, per commemorare la perdita della sua unica figlia di 26 anni, Alina Marchetta, stroncata la mattina del 7 aprile 2019 a Forlì, dall’auto condotta da una sua coetanea, Martina Mercuriali, in preda ai fumi dell’ alcool e imbottita di droga.
Una mostra d’Arte per tener vivo il ricordo di questa ragazza, della sua tragica scomparsa, e per sensibilizzare l’opinione pubblica sulle tragedie causate dagli omicidi stradali perpetrati da guidatori completamente ubriachi o drogati.
L’unico strumento e' l’Arte, cui può ricorrere la mamma di Alina per attenuare l’abisso del suo dolore e della sua incolmabile perdita e per rappresentare la figura della figlia e di chi gli sopravvive duramente nello struggente ricordo di quegli sguardi pieni di speranze e di sogni, ora spezzati.
Nella mostra sono state esposte opere di 40 artisti selezionati in tutti campi dell’arte visiva (pittura, scultura, fotografia, design, grafica/illustrazione, video) e, nel giorno della sua inaugurazione, sono stati premiati i primi tre artisti vincitori del concorso indetto per l’anno 2020:
1° Premio ”Alina” a Livia Cannella per il video ”ALINA e le rose”
2° Premio a David Pompili per l’opera ”Santi Urbani”
3° Premio a Anna Maria Scocozza per l’installazione art-paper ” ALINA. La primavera ti sveglierá con un fiore”
Una mostra che si ripeterà ogni anno perché questo Amore non svanisca e perché resti vivo il monito di questa tragedia: mai più queste stragi omicide !
La Legge del 2016, che ha introdotto nell’ordinamento penale la nuova fattispecie dell’omicidio stradale, presenta infatti ancora gravi lacune e inaccettabili problematiche applicative.
